Small 20 plus Community Guild LF members
Hello....
ROAR - Rangers of Ascalon Return is a relatively new guild started in January of this year. Since we have started we have grown to an average of around 20 players and our numbers increase and decrease but the average stays around 20 members and we are looking to double that to a community of 40 players. About us though .......
We are an older group of gamers and our average age is well above 30 although we do have members in college around 20 years old or so. We have an age limit of 18 to join our guild as we want helpful and mature community members and usually anyone below that age has usually been shown the door shortly after they have been invited. When I mention community I mean that our members Chat with one another in-game, many of us are long time friends, we do activities togeather and help one another. We ask all folks joining us to spend a week sometimes less as a recruit and game with and get to know us.
What you will find at ROAR
1.) A full Guild Hall, small alliance, and active forums
http://Lordfeathers.proboards60.com/
2.) Players from your avid addicted GW gamers to casual players who like to simply play and chat with good folks online. We pride ourselves on our community members and simply put if people can't play nice with one another we show them the door.
3.) A dedicated Leadership core which plans guild activities and tournaments. All of which are helpful folks and avid gamers. What we want to continue to grow is a community where when you logg on you know there will be helpful members and the leaders there that will keep it a fun place to be. Nobody wants to Logg on to an inactive guild or game with people you have to ignore or tolerate rude behavior from. We don't have problems with members at ROAR, if we have a problem I simply hurl them from the keeps towers
4.) We are dedicated to the P vs E aspect of the game although we have some who dabble in P vs P but the vast majority of us simply enjoy exploring and gaming itself. We have players who have beat every chapter to those who are just starting to play. But what makes a great guild member isn't ones acomplishments in-game it's the person at the key board.
What you won't Find at ROAR
1.) The OMFG, swearing, LEET talk, and other B.S. you'll find many players doing. We're Co-OP and community players and we WILL NOT be a baby sitter for other peoples kids or tolerate those who can't behave or play nice with other folks. If you see this in any member it's probably a recruit headed for the keeps towers to be hurled off because it isn't tolerated here.
2.) Farming, Elite areas, ect. - Do we do them ? YES.... is it something you'll have to do everytime you jump online ? NO .... Why is that ? ..... simply put our members vary as much as the game. There are 3 chapters soon to be 4 with GWEN being released Aug 31st.... with a game offering so much to do and over such a large area do you think everyone will be at the same stage in the game or area everytime you logg on ? IF your joining just to Farm items, beat elite areas and gather gold your in the wrong spot. Most of the time when our members need a hand with something be it a mission or quest the help is freely given as are items. Most of us don't trade within the guild we help each other build our characters.
If your interested in gaming with some ADULT players or are still looking for that right group of people to hang out with online playing GW stop on in and give us a shout. The link to our forums is listed above. Our goal is to continue to grow the community thru alliances and players for the sole purpose of having fun
